Alternative Funding 

This workshop will deal with how alternative 
ways of providing services can be facilitated, to 
allow people with a disability and their families 
greater control over their lives. 

 

 

Alternative Respite 

This workshop will look at different initiatives 
around the country, which give both the person 
with a disability and their families, alternative 
ways of taking respite. 

 

A Different Approach 
to Speech and 
Language Therapy 

Tara Cunningham of Release will provide 
information on how speech and language 
therapy can be provided in different ways. 

 

 

Wills, Trust Funds and 
Capacity 

This workshop will provide information on the 
different anomalies which concern people with 
an intellectual disability and their families when 
they are making wills, with information on trust 
funds and how current capacity legislation
